My story

Born in Chicago to a Spanish mother and Pakistani father, I grew up between Texas, Mallorca, and Chicago. Third culture kid, trilingual, and somewhere permanently in between. Today, I live on the Mediterranean coast of Spain — designing products that make people smile and allow them to work however they want to.

How my brain works

I’m autistic, an extroverted introvert, and sensitive to the undercurrent — I don’t just look at the problem, I pick up on what people aren’t saying, where the friction sits, and I simplify complexity down to its core. In the end, I want products to feel simple, natural, and calmer than the world we live in.

How I work

I design products that balance business needs, technical constraints, and real human behavior. I like structure where it matters, flexibility where it helps, and always aim to deliver useful, functional products without unnecessary complexity.

Feedback

Direct feedback is always welcome — honesty beats politeness (for me). I do take time to reflect when giving feedback to others, especially on complex topics. I don’t speak just to speak — if I say something, it’s intentional and constructive.

Motivations & struggles

Trust me to own my work, and I’ll move mountains. Micromanagement or avoiding responsibility wears me down fast. I hold myself accountable and believe that’s essential. I’ve always been driven to help people—from my past work in medicine to now designing products that make life easier. I love connecting, but I protect my energy: I’m intentional about every meeting and how I spend my time. I don’t waste energy on what doesn’t matter.

Outside of work

You’ll usually find me with my family by the sea, hiking, practicing yoga or exploring AI, history, and science rabbit holes. I’m passionate about human rights and especially committed to supporting charities for children in need. Also: I’m 100% a cat person 😻.
